Impressive large-scale hand-painted decorative panel, created in 1993 as a bespoke commission for a private dealer specialized in Chinese and Asian art. The piece is signed and dated on the reverse, confirming its authenticity and one-off character.
The composition depicts a refined traditional scene with peacocks, flowering trees and birds, rendered in rich gold, green and red tones against a deep black background.
