Product description
Impressive large-scale hand-painted decorative panel, created in 1993 as a bespoke commission for a private dealer specialized in Chinese and Asian art. The piece is signed and dated on the reverse, confirming its authenticity and one-off character.
The composition depicts a refined traditional scene with peacocks, flowering trees and birds, rendered in rich gold, green and red tones against a deep black background. The work shows clear references to classical Chinese lacquer painting, combining intricate detailing with a strong, almost architectural visual presence.
Produced as a custom-made work rather than a mass-produced artwork, this panel functions both as wall art and as a statement interior element.
Dimensions:
Height: 245 cm
Width: 122 cm
Weight:
43.5 kg
The panel comes with custom-made plexiglass hanging brackets, designed to securely support the weight of the piece and ensure safe wall mounting.
Condition:
Very good condition, with vibrant surfaces and only minor signs of age consistent with time.
A rare and impressive piece, ideal for collectors, interior designers or architectural spaces seeking scale, craftsmanship and a refined Asian influence.
