Impressive hand-knotted vintage Mashad rug from a German private collection. The nearly square format, the central medallion, and the richly detailed floral motifs give this rug a powerful and balanced appearance.
The deep red is combined with dark blue, cream, light blue, and warm earth tones. The wide multi-layer border and the beautifully full wool pile emphasize its high-quality character.
