Large glazed stoneware pitcher with molded decoration of fine horizontal ribs and chocolate-colored enamel bands, punctuated with white dots. Available in chalky white and chocolate tones.
The glossy glaze and clean shape reflect the aesthetic of mid-century French design, combining functionality and decoration.
Unidentified signature intaglio under the base, probably from a workshop in the South of France (Vallauris or Digoin region), circa 1950–1960.
