Product description
Due to relocation, the large framed color etching by Dutch artist Marcel Schellekens is offered. The work depicts a relaxed beach scene with a lady (Saskia Noort) in a beach chair, a characteristic theme within his figurative oeuvre that captures the tranquility of everyday moments. The screen print is executed on thick paper and features a passe-partout and a silver-colored frame. The color palette consists of soft, natural tones such as beige, blue, and subtle pink accents, which enhance the atmosphere of a sunny day at the sea. The work is signed and dated on the bottom right, and numbered on the bottom left (21/50), indicating a limited edition. The artwork is in excellent condition and professionally framed, making it ready to hang immediately. The frame and glass protect the print and contribute to the neat appearance of the whole. This atmospheric work will look beautiful in a bright, modern living room or a calming bedroom. It adds a touch of warmth and nostalgia to the interior and combines effortlessly with natural materials and light wood types.
