Product description
Large decorative cassolette in polychrome veined onyx with a gilded metal mount, Italy, vintage from the 1960s-1970s. Elegant baluster shape on a pedestal, topped with a flared neck flanked by two leafy handles with neoclassical decoration. The body is solid, without an opening but with a screw inside the "neck", it is probably an old lamp base element or an object originally designed as an ornamental element.
Max height at handles 36cm, 32.5cm at the neck, width 18cm at handles, foot diameter 9cm. Very good general condition, noting a slight patina on the gilded metal and discreet signs of use. Weight approximately 2 to 3kg.
