Product description
This is a striking sculpture in the Brutalist style, characterized by powerful geometric design. The design combines circular elements with an abstract representation of a female figure, resulting in an intriguing three-dimensional object.
The artwork is crafted from ceramic and finished in a mottled beige shade that emphasizes the robust texture of the material. The construction features a layered structure of concentric circles on the front, while the back is adorned with taut wires that add an unexpected architectural element. The sculpture rests on a sturdy, pyramid-shaped base with a small opening.
The sculpture is in good condition, commensurate with its age. The ceramic has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the Brutalist character of the piece. The original finish and the taut wires have remained intact.
This sculptural object comes into its own perfectly in a modernist or eclectic interior. It serves as a strong visual anchor point on a sideboard, console, or in an open shelving unit, where the geometric forms and the texture of the ceramic draw attention.
