They represent the ultimate in Moroccan Berber carpets. The weaving, of a particularly high density, gives the carpet a tighter texture, thus requiring a substantial amount of wool for its realization. M'rirt rugs are washed and brushed once woven, giving the wool a velvety softness. They are of remarkable thickness, offering soft comfort, and have patterns similar to those of beni ouarain carpets.
