Its silhouette is particularly successful. A long wooden base with clean lines holds two thick, textured, and slightly curved glass panels, whose design evokes frost crystals running across a winter window. Light passes through the glass, catching its relief and revealing, depending on the angle, a multitude of almost botanical patterns. Its true character lies in its large turned wooden handle, composed of a succession of spheres that gradually decrease towards the ends. At the top, a more generous sphere punctuates the whole. A very decorative flourish that testifies to the appreciation for forms in the decorative arts of the mid-20th century. The combination is appealing.
