For collectors and connoisseurs of exclusive Italian craftsmanship:
A beautiful, two-piece ceramic set from the luxury manufacturer L'Antica Deruta (Moretti, Umbria).
Both pieces feature the classic, elegant motif of a potted flowering tree with a ribbon (also known as a topiary pattern, "Giardino," or "Albero della Vita").
This rare design dates back to the 1990s—it is a genuine vintage piece. The manufacturer no longer produces this design, and it is completely sold out.
The set consists of two perfectly matching pieces:
Piece 1:
Large, bulbous jar with lid and two handles
Model: 1268/21 • Height: approx. 21 cm
Perfect condition.
Part 2:
Elegant Pitcher / Water Jug
Model: 1161/17 • Height: approx. 17 cm
Very good overall condition.
There is a darker color mark on the handle, which occurred during the manufacturing process (a so-called kiln soot mark or firing support imprint). Directly next to it, on the upper edge of the handle, is a tiny chip in the glaze (see detail photo). This happened during the firing process when placing the pitcher in the kiln.
Neither of these imperfections detracts from the beauty of the pitcher in any way, but rather underscores the authentic, handcrafted character of this genuine vintage collector's item!
Quality Certificate:
The original manufacturer's marks and model numbers are located on the undersides of both pieces.
