An antique ceramic washbasin jug by the Dutch manufacturer Petrus Regout & Co. This piece, model 'Wellington', is an example of the craftsmanship and classic aesthetics of Maastricht earthenware from the late 19th or early 20th century. The jug is made of white ceramic and finished with a glossy, crackled glaze that contributes to its authentic character. The design features a classic, baluster-shaped body, an elegantly shaped handle, and subtle relief details along the rim and base. The underside is marked with the well-known sphinx logo of Petrus Regout & Co Maastricht, confirming its origin and period. The overall condition is very good, in accordance with its age and previous use. The crackle in the glaze is consistent over the entire surface.
