With its clear architectural design language, the "Laser" floor lamp by Lamperti embodies the elegance and innovative power of Italian design from the late 1970s and 1980s. Designed by Italian designer Max Baguara for the lighting manufacturer Lamperti, this iconic model combines geometric rigor with exceptional lightness and is now one of the sought-after designs of Italian postmodernism.
Characteristic of the "Laser" is the tall lamp body made of solid glass, framed by a delicate metal structure. The transparent glass stele appears almost floating and creates an exciting contrast to the black lacquered metal base and the hemispherical uplighter shade. When switched on, the lamp unfolds an impressive lighting effect: the light is gently emitted upwards and at the same time reflected by the glass body, creating an elegant, atmospheric room illumination.
The example offered here is in very good vintage condition. The glass shows only minimal, age-related signs of use, which do not detract from the high-quality overall impression. The black lacquered metal parts are well-maintained and have a beautiful original surface. The integrated dimmer works perfectly and allows for continuous adjustment of the light intensity – from atmospheric accent lighting to powerful indirect room illumination.
