About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Georgia Jacob table lamp, dating from the 1970s, embodies the sculptural aesthetic of its era. Its distinctive design, reminiscent of flowing drapery, makes it a masterpiece of French vintage design.
The structure is crafted from resin, a material emblematic of Georgia Jacob's creations, offering a translucency that diffuses a soft, warm light. The circular, marble-like base ensures stability while complementing the lamp's elegant form. The creamy hue of the resin harmonizes with the base, creating a cohesive visual unity.
The lamp is in a condition that reflects its age, retaining its structural integrity and original charm. The electrical system is present, with a visible white cable.
This piece integrates seamlessly into a Mid-Century Modern or Hollywood Regency style interior. It sits beautifully on a sideboard, side table, or console, adding a touch of sculptural elegance and subtle ambient lighting.
