This classic oil lamp by Lempereur & Bernard is a refined example of nineteenth-century lighting. The design combines a robust brass base with a delicate glass chimney, resulting in a timeless and functional object. The lamp is made of solid brass and features a glass chimney with the inscription 'L.B. Cristal'. The base shows refined decorative details, including carved floral motifs and ornate engravings. The brass casing has a warm, golden hue that has developed an authentic patina over the years. The underside bears the stamp 'Lempereur & Bernard', confirming the origin and authenticity of the piece. The object is in good, original condition with a characteristic patina that testifies to its age.
