Coupé ad arco Floor Light, designed by the brilliant Joe Colombo for the Milanese company Oluce, original creation from 1967. Very good general condition, fully functional original wiring, marked wear on the lampshade inherent to the age of the piece.

The Coupé series was initially conceived as a variation of the Spider family by the same designer. The simple and ingenious mechanism connecting the stem to the head allows the beam to be directed in several directions, by moving the dome upwards, downwards, and sideways. White lacquered base, chrome stem, adjustable semi-cylindrical lampshade in white lacquered aluminum — a perfect formal balance between geometric rigor and Italian elegance.
In 1968, the Coupé won the International Design Award from the American Institute of Interior Designers of Chicago. It is part of the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung museum in Munich.
