Private sellerProduct description
This is a Tholos Studio Table Lamp, designed by Ernesto Gismondi for the renowned Italian manufacturer Artemide. Made in the 1970s, this piece is an emblematic example of the functionalist design of the era, characterized by an essential form and great practicality of use.
The lamp's structure consists of a white plastic base and diffuser, joined by a black flexible arm that allows the light beam to be directed according to one's needs. The chromatic contrast between white and black, combined with the simplicity of the lines, gives the object a timeless aesthetic. As indicated on the original label, the lamp was produced in Italy, a testament to the manufacturing quality of Italian design.
The item is in good vintage condition, is functional, and retains its original character. The surface shows a patina and signs of use that are consistent with its age, adding authenticity and history to this design piece.
Thanks to its compact and versatile design, the Tholos lamp adapts perfectly to different contexts, from a desk in an office to a bedside table in a bedroom. It is a stylish addition for modern, vintage, or industrially inspired interiors.
