Lamp - Art Deco Night Light.
France Art Deco 1920-1930
Art Deco night light with seagulls and waves - France, approx. 1930 marble, spelter and frosted glass.
An atmospheric French Art Deco night light from around 1925-1935. Two stylized seagulls in flight skim over green, cold-painted waves. In the center is a shade of frosted relief glass in the shape of a flame or torch. The whole rests on a rectangular plate of black marble with white and reddish-brown veins.
Materials:
Base: black veined marble
Seagulls and waves: patinated spelter (régule) with bronze and green tones
Shade: frosted etched glass with relief
Socket: brass

Very good condition, commensurate with age.
Only at the top of the glass shade is a small imperfection (see photo).
