Product description
Designer: Year: 2011 This is a lighting object in which a fluorescent tube runs through 120 black MDF plates rotated relative to one another. The MDF plates are connected to each other and fixed in place by transparent marbles, which are milled into the MDF in a staggered pattern. The marbles force the black plates into a rhythmic pattern, creating a twisted form. Also note the shadow effect on the wall behind. The light from the fluorescent tube is dimmable via a rotary dimmer knob on the side of the object. Materials: - White lacquered MDF base. - Black waxed MDF plates. - Transparent marbles. - Plexiglas tube. - T5 dimmable fluorescent lighting
