Lady Venom
A rebirth from the forest.
Some artworks are created.
Lady Venom was reborn.
Deeply hidden in the forest lay its original body – covered in moss, weathered and already very close to the natural cycle of transience. Little suggested what form was hidden beneath.
Then a coincidence: when lifting a branch, this extraordinary piece of wood came to light.
I took it to my workshop.
There, its second story began.
The moss was removed, the grown form exposed, and gradually a fascinating, almost feminine silhouette revealed itself. What nature had hidden for years was now allowed to become visible again.
Through the combination of craftsmanship and fire, Lady Venom received its final form. Refined with the traditional Japanese Yakisugi technique, the wood became deep black and acquired that characteristic surface that emphasizes its natural grain and powerful lines.
From the hidden into the light.
From the transient into art.
From a piece of forest, Lady Venom was born.
With its 50 cm height, it is far more than a candlestick today: a handmade wooden sculpture that connects light, nature, and mysticism.
A true unique piece.
Once found. Once born. Unique in this form.
A piece for people who not only want to look at art but also feel its story.
