Ladder chairs attributed to Cees Braakman
1960s
Teak, faux leather, plywood
Comfortable curved seat and backrest.
For a good price because they are in my way.
The faux leather is in surprisingly good condition, apart from some minor scratches from use. Most models of this type offered for sale have damaged or worn upholstery!
Teak wood and plywood show signs of wear consistent with their age. I have more photos if desired.
Each chair has some damage that could be repaired. For someone with knowledge of wood, this would not be difficult. Photos included.
Left chair: photos 6 to 8. A leg has been attached with sealant/glue and screws. Appears to have been done a long time ago. Crack in a leg from inserting a glidetip.
Middle chair: photos 9 to 12. Cracks in the tips of the backrest. Water stains on the back.
Right chair: photos 13/14. Piece missing from the bottom of the seat, partly filled.
Delivery sometimes also possible between Dokkum and Hoofddorp. They fit in my mid-range car with some maneuvering. Contact me.
