Product description
This is a Limoges porcelain milk jug, manufactured by GDA for the iconic Parisian brasserie La Coupole.
GDA (Gérard, Dufraisseix & Abbott, founded in 1797) is today Royal Limoges, the oldest active factory in the city.
The piece features the distinctive La Coupole logo, an emblem of the Art Déco style that evokes the vibrant artistic and cultural atmosphere of Paris in the 1920s.
Made of fine white Limoges porcelain, renowned for its quality and translucency, this jug measures 12 cm in height. The body of the piece has a subtle vertically ribbed texture, which contrasts with the smooth surface of the handle and spout. The illustration on the front, with its stylized figure, is a clear example of the graphic design of the era, while the GDA Limoges manufacturer's mark on the base confirms its French origin and high-quality production.

EXCELLENT CONDITION
No nicks or chips, with the logical and slight wear of the gold plating on the handle line (see photos), preserving the character and history of its use in a legendary setting. The porcelain remains shiny and the main illustration is well preserved, showing the crisp colors and lines of the original design. This piece is an authentic souvenir from one of Montparnasse's most emblematic places.
