Beautiful hand-blown water jug from the "Basun / Blå series". Designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda Åfors, Sweden, from the 1960s. Rare model. Height: 13.5 cm. Diameter: 9.5 cm. Weight: 520 grams. In the comprehensive book about Bertil Vallien's work, "Har jag gjort allt det här?" by Björn and Caroline Boode, photos of this series can be found on pages 92 and 93. See the last photos. Several pages in that book are dedicated to this "Blå serien" (the blue series).
