Bertil Vallien (born January 17, 1938, in Stockholm) is a renowned Swedish glass artist and designer, best known for his long association with Kosta Boda. He studied at the prestigious Konstfack art school under Stig Lindberg and graduated in 1961. Since 1963, he has been associated with Kosta Boda, where he creates both utilitarian glassware and works of art. His work is exhibited in major museums worldwide. He has received numerous awards, including the Visionary Award from the Glass Art Society (GAS).
