Product description
This extendable dining table by Schuitema is a refined example of furniture art in the Art Nouveau tradition. The design is characterized by the striking inlay work on the round tabletop, which forms an organic, floral motif, typical of the design language of this period. The table is crafted from high-quality wood with a warm, brown finish that emphasizes the natural grain structure. The ingenious extension system allows the round table to be transformed into a spacious oval dining table using extra extension leaves. The sturdy legs feature subtle, geometric wood carving details at the top, contributing to the architectural appearance of the piece. The furniture is in good condition, appropriate for its age and use. The construction is solid, and the extension mechanism functions properly, making the table a valuable addition both practically and aesthetically. This Schuitema dining table fits perfectly in a classic or eclectic interior. The piece offers an elegant base for elaborate dinners and forms a stylish centerpiece in the dining room.
