This beautiful sculptural coffee table of tempered glass and aluminum was designed in the 1960s by German designer Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt. The table has a very elegant table frame with 4 sculptural columns of solid aluminum, polished and ground. Knut Hesterberg is a world-renowned German sculptor who began his career at the graphic art and design studio in Zurich, Switzerland. In the late 1960s he designed sculptural table forms, notably for Ronald Schmitt Eberbach and to a very limited extent for Bacher Tische in Renningen near Stuttgart, to bring art into people's everyday lives. This coffee table is a high-quality aerodynamically shaped coffee table, which will impress in any setting and in any interior.Small scratches on the legs (see photos).
