An Art Collection lounge chair in dark brown leather. The leather seat is in perfect condition with minimal patina, and the leather armrests are also unaffected. Only one spot on the back of the chair shows a small scratch. The chair's solid stainless steel frame, with its attractive lines, lends it a light appearance. A timeless design, crafted with the highest quality.
This armchair was designed by German industrial designer Rudolf B. Glatzel in the 1970s. The Art Collection series was initially produced by Dreipunkt and later continued by Walter Knoll. The family-run company Wilhelm Knoll was founded in 1865 and quickly became known for its high-quality leather furniture. From 1925 onwards, Walter Knoll was an important representative of the avant-garde and focused on the production of Bauhaus furniture. Walter Knoll remains one of Germany's leading furniture manufacturers. The Art Collection series is characterized by its high-quality furniture.
