Product description
Special vintage Pendant lamp, designed by Klaus Hempel for the German lighting manufacturer Kaiser Leuchten, presumably from the 1970s. A sculptural design in which geometric shapes, brass, and indirect lighting come together.
The lamp is constructed from various brass elements that appear to float above each other. A rounded upper shell and a bowl-shaped lower reflector are connected by an elegant, inwardly curved middle section. The small spherical finial at the bottom forms a subtle decorative detail.
The carefully constructed forms create a special interplay of light and reflection. When the lamp is lit, the light becomes visible between the brass parts, creating a warm, golden glow. The polished surfaces enhance this effect and emphasize the sculptural design.
Even when switched off, the lamp is a striking design object, in which the expressive design language of the 1970s is clearly recognizable. The Pendant lamp is in neat vintage condition, with light signs of wear and patina appropriate for its age. The lamp is equipped with new wiring.
Dimensions are as follows: height 17 cm, diameter 15 cm.
Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
