About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Beautiful authentic set of three 1950s cinema chairs, made of wood and metal. The chairs bring the nostalgic atmosphere of a classic movie theater directly into your interior.
The seats and backrests are made of bent plywood with a warm, brown finish, mounted on a robust black metal frame. Unique to these chairs is the wide comfortable seat and pre-formed backrest, which sits much better than the often offered wooden Thonet chairs. The chairs have a folding mechanism. This set is a characteristic example of functional design from the mid-20th century.
The chairs have a lived-in character that matches their age and history. They are perfect as a unique eye-catcher in a hall, waiting room, living room, or even a home cinema. Great in an industrial or vintage interior.
A few more sets and also a couple with 4 chairs available!
Dimensions (set of 3): 172.5 cm wide, 84 cm high, seat height 42 cm, depth folded 44 cm, unfolded 63.5 cm.
