About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a sofa designed by Kho Liang Ie. The piece of furniture is a prime example of the functionalist approach characteristic of the mid-20th century, focusing on clean lines and minimalist design. The design combines comfort with a timeless aesthetic, making it a classic within Dutch Design.
The construction consists of a solid, dark base resting on characteristic legs of molded plywood. The upholstery is a woven textile fabric with a subtle texture in an old rose color scheme. The sofa features a single, continuous seat cushion and four separate, square back cushions, contributing to both comfort and the sleek, modular appearance of the design.
