The ceramic jug designed by Simone Carrié is a remarkable piece of contemporary art from the 1950s. Produced in her small "Kercy Quimper" workshop, this work reflects the craftsmanship of the period, incorporating black and red floral motifs on a brown background. With a height of 36 cm and a diameter of 12 cm, it stands out for its imposing dimensions and its brilliant enamel, which has retained all its brilliance over the years. Although a few small graining marks adorn the base, they add to the uniqueness of this piece, which was specifically produced for the Elchinger factory as a special order.
