Product description
This is a hand-woven Kelim rug, characterized by its traditional weaving technique. Very old. The rug features vibrant geometric patterns and a warm, earthy color palette. The colors have symbolic meaning. The rug is made of wool, using the flat-weave technique typical of kilims. The design consists of a repetition of diamond and triangular motifs in various shades, including red, orange, yellow, brown, and black. The overall condition is vintage, with a patina developed through age and use. These signs of wear are inherent to the rug's history and contribute to its authentic and lived-in appearance. There are finished holes in the rug, probably used as a door for a nomad tent or other covering. The dimensions are 2.15/75.
