Kathy Mueller-Moser, born in 1968 in Philadelphia, is a multifaceted artist whose work spans several mediums, including painting, sculpture and installations. Her art is heavily influenced by her international experiences, having lived in Japan, the United States and Switzerland. These experiences play an important role in the subject matter of her work, which often combines a playful approach to contemporary society with deeper reflections on identity and cultural influences
Mueller-Moser is known for her use of vibrant colors and textures in her paintings and objects. Her work is often abstract and at the same time figurative, with works such as "Pumpkin Babies" (2007) and "Big Boy" (2008), in which she combines playful, almost childlike forms with more complex concepts
Since 2000, she has focused mainly on personal projects and has exhibited worldwide, especially in Switzerland and at art fairs such as Art Basel
Her work invites the viewer to consider the transformation of forms and the interaction between different cultures and forms of expression.
