The Kartell Magazine Rack Magazine Rack is a design by Italian designer Giotto Stoppino. Stoppino (1926 - 2011) earned his fame as an architect, urban planner and designer of products awarded multiple Compasso d'Oro, the first and most important award for design. His work can be seen in the permanent collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art and London's Victoria & Albert Museum. In 1972, he designed the Magazine Rack, originally produced in a number of opaque 70's proof colors. The rack was also perfect for storing LPs. We are now almost fifty years on and this design still glows with charm: it is timeless.
