Product description
The Diana armchair, designed by Karin Mobring for IKEA in the 1970s, is an iconic example of Scandinavian design from that period. This specific piece combines a sleek, white lacquered wooden frame with a contrasting black canvas seat and backrest, creating a timeless and graphic look.
The frame is crafted from sturdy wood and finished in white, while the seat and backrest are made of durable black canvas featuring decorative white stitching. The canvas sections are attached to the frame with striking leather straps, a distinctive detail that contributes to the chair's robust and functional character. The dimensions and proportions are designed with comfort and a relaxed sitting posture in mind.
The armchair is in condition commensurate with its age and use, while retaining its original character well. The wooden frame and canvas upholstery display the authentic patina characteristic of a vintage piece of furniture from the 1970s.
This Karin Mobring Diana armchair looks excellent in a modern, Scandinavian, or vintage-inspired interior. It is a versatile piece of furniture that makes a stylish and comfortable addition to a living room, reading nook, or study.
