About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a lithograph by the Dutch artist Karel Appel, a key figure in the CoBrA movement. The work, titled 'Snake', displays his characteristic expressive and colorful style that balances between abstraction and figuration. This lithograph on paper bursts with vibrant colors, with powerful touches of blue, red, pink, and yellow coming together in a dynamic composition. Appel's work is known for its spontaneous and childlike imagery, and this is clearly reflected here. The piece has recently been professionally framed in a sleek, black frame with a cream-colored passe-partout, giving the artwork a modern and fresh look. The lithograph itself is in excellent condition, with no visible signs of aging or damage. Thanks to the new framing, the work is immediately ready to take a prominent place on the wall. It is a real eye-catcher that fits perfectly in both a modern and an eclectic interior.
