Product description
Rare and striking table lamp by KARE Design, model 67990, dating from circa 2009–2011. Designed in the shape of an oversized light bulb, the lamp features a large transparent globe filled with tangled silver-coloured metallic strips, creating spectacular reflections when illuminated. The brushed metal base reproduces the shape of a giant screw bulb fitting and sits on a substantial circular metal foot. A playful and sculptural example of KARE Design’s unconventional lighting designs from the late 2000s / early 2010s. The model 67990 is documented in KARE Design’s original Lightshow / Bright Delight catalogues from 2010 and 2011.
