Product description
This Kalmar chandelier is a striking example of 1970s lighting design, characterised by its substantial glass elements and refined metalwork. The fixture exemplifies the era's fascination with textured materials and geometric forms, offering a commanding presence in any interior setting.
Constructed with a brass-finished frame, the chandelier features multiple tiers of thick, textured glass panels that diffuse light to create a warm, ambient glow. The interplay between the polished metal and the ice-like glass elements highlights the meticulous craftsmanship typical of Kalmar's production during this period. The piece is suspended by a matching chain and ceiling rose, completing its cohesive aesthetic.
The chandelier remains in great condition, preserving its original character and structural integrity. The glass panels are intact, and the brass frame exhibits a natural patina consistent with its age, adding to its authentic vintage appeal.
Ideal for a dining room, entryway, or living space, this chandelier complements both mid-century modern and contemporary interiors. Its sculptural quality makes it a focal point that enhances the architectural features of a room.
