Product description
Beautiful and architectural mid-century pendant light by Kaiser Leuchten, Germany, circa 1960s. The standout feature is its substantial circularpressed-glass diffuser, beautifully moulded with a highly detailed radial pattern. The concentric texture catches and refracts the light exceptionally well, giving the lamp an almost crystalline appearance when switched off and producing a wonderfully warm, atmospheric glow when illuminated. The sculptural glass is combined with a restrained black and chrome metal construction, creating the clean, functionalist aesthetic characteristic of German mid-century lighting. The contrast between the highly textured transparent glass and minimal metal elements gives the lamp a particularly timeless appearance. The light uses three E14 bulbs, allowing the large glass diffuser to illuminate evenly across its surface. A beautiful statement light for a living room, bedroom or entrance hall, and equally suited to a minimalist, modernist or more eclectic interior. **Manufacturer:** Kaiser Leuchten **Origin:** Germany **Period:** Circa 1960s/70s **Style:** Mid-Century Modern / Modernist **Materials:** Pressed glass, metal and chrome **Colour:** Clear glass, black and chrome **Light sources:** 3 × E14 **Dimensions:** Approx.
