I am selling a large, heavy brass chandelier in the classic Flemish-Dutch style by Kaiser Leuchten, of heavy quality.
It was acquired at Kaiser Leuchten on Brienner Straße in Munich during the 70s/80s.
The chandelier hung as a solitaire in a large, 6-meter-high room. The original label with item number (32494/122) is still present.
Features:
- 12 flames on two levels (stepped), curved arms with decorative flourishes
- large brass sphere as the lower finial
- wide drip pans and candle sleeves for E14 candle bulbs
- Diameter: approx. 1 m – particularly wide, a real eye-catcher for large rooms, yet not overwhelmingly bulky
- Height of the lamp without chain: approx. 40 cm
- Original suspension chain: 1.75 m + 5 cm brass cover (ceiling canopy)
presumably 1970s/80s
- warm, dark patina. suitable for its age
Ideal for dining rooms, old buildings with high ceilings, stairwells, country houses or halls. Thanks to the long chain, the hanging height can be flexibly adjusted.
