Product description
The Kaiser Leuchten Bubble floor lamp is a definitive example of mid-century lighting design. This piece is characterised by its distinctive stacked-sphere base, a silhouette that has become synonymous with the era's approach to sculptural domestic objects. The lamp shade is a replacement but brings vibrancy and fun to any space. This is a functional lamp that has artistic interior value.
Constructed with a glossy white ceramic base, the lamp features a series of graduated, bulbous forms that create a rhythmic visual profile. It is topped with a striking textile shade adorned with a bold, swirling geometric pattern in vibrant orange, brown, and beige tones. The combination of the sleek, monochromatic base and the highly graphic shade exemplifies the dynamic aesthetic of 1970s interior design.
The lamp remains in great overall condition, preserving its original character and structural integrity. The ceramic base retains its high-gloss finish, and the textile shade displays its vivid colours with clarity, reflecting careful preservation over the decades.
This floor lamp serves as a compelling focal point in both vintage-inspired and contemporary interiors. Its substantial presence and warm, diffused light make it an ideal addition to a living area or reading corner, pairing effortlessly with teak furniture and other mid-century modern elements.
