About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an elegant set of six dining chairs, designed by the Danish master Kai Kristiansen for Korup Stølefabrik. These chairs are a beautiful example of mid-century Danish design, known for its clean lines and functionality. The design, with its characteristic ladder backrest, is both timeless and comfortable.
The chairs are made of warm-toned wood, which provides a rich and natural look. The seats have been re-upholstered with a high-quality, light beige textile fabric that creates a beautiful contrast with the dark frame. The craftsmanship is clearly visible in the flowing joints and the slender, tapered legs, a typical feature of Kristiansen's work.
This set is in very good condition and shows careful use over the years. The combination of the elegant wooden frame and the fresh upholstery makes them a perfect addition to a modern or vintage dining area. They fit effortlessly into a Scandinavian interior and add a touch of design history to any meal.
