Product description
"Hushed Sands" is a compelling piece from the "Too Close To See" series, offering a profound exploration of the unseen layers within chaos. This artwork invites viewers to look beyond the surface, discovering beauty and complexity in the midst of turmoil.
"Too Close to See" is a photography series that delves into the heart of contemporary turmoil, capturing the essence of chaos from within. Amidst economic downturns, conflicts, and pandemics, our vision becomes obscured, shrouded in uncertainty. It mirrors a night train journey, where all that passes is a blur of lights and indistinct shapes. Yet, this series seeks to uncover the unexpected beauty amidst disorder, celebrating the spontaneous forms arising from clashing elements. It embodies a state of restlessness, a quest for a haven of tranquility amidst the storm.
Emerging as a vibrant new force within the contemporary art scene, "Kai Kendrik" has established himself in Milan, Italy. Born in 1987, Kendrik brings over twenty years of experience from the realms of fashion and design to his artistry. By fusing classical photography with innovative digital methods, his work breaks conventional barriers, presenting a novel viewpoint that appeals to both the discerning art lover and the everyday viewer.
This piece is printed on semi-glossy papers (Hahnemuhle Fine-art Baryta, Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk), chosen for their ability to achieve deep blacks with Dmax values akin to the finest baryta papers. The utilization of pigment inks on 100% cotton supports, maintaining a strictly neutral pH and free from optical brighteners, guarantees its archival quality. Presented with a certificate of authenticity.
This numbered limited edition of "Hushed Sands" is meticulously crafted. Frame-free, it extends an invitation for seamless customization, granting you the freedom to make it truly 'one of a kind' and uniquely yours. Embrace the artistic liberty to effortlessly harmonize with your interior style.
