About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a folding chair, designed by the Finnish designer Hannu Kähönen. The design is a prime example of Finnish functionalism, combining a minimalist aesthetic with portability and an ingenious folding mechanism.
The construction consists of a lightweight metal frame with a cream-colored finish and black plastic hinge points. The seat and backrest are made of durable, cream-colored canvas, supported by black tension straps that also serve as armrests. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, the chair can be folded very compactly.
The chair is in good, functional condition, consistent with its age and use. The construction is solid, and the folding mechanism functions properly, retaining its original character.
This versatile piece of furniture is a practical and stylish addition to various spaces. It functions excellently as an extra seat in a modern or Scandinavian interior, or as a flexible design object for lovers of thoughtful design.
