Product description
K1000 coffee table by Team form AG for Ronald Schmitt, 1970s Germany. The table combines a sculptural solid white marble base with subtle grey veining, paired with a thick, circular glass top in a cantilever construction. This asymmetrical design gives the piece a light, almost floating appearance while maintaining a strong architectural presence. The marble base provides a stable foundation, while the glass top keeps the overall look open and uncluttered. The cantilever structure adds balance without making the table feel heavy, allowing it to function as a central piece without dominating a space. Team Form AG was a Swiss-based design collective active in the mid-to-late 20th century, known for a minimalist approach and innovative structural solutions. Ronald Schmitt, a German manufacturer, became known for producing high-quality furniture that combined craftsmanship with forward-thinking design through collaborations with notable designers. A well-proportioned piece that reflects the understated character of 1970s European design. Some scratches on the glass top from use, but overall in very good vintage condition.
