Biography:
Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first exhibitions. His first solo exhibition followed in 2015. Since then, he has been constantly developing his technique.
Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to date. Jürgen Angeler pays particular attention to informal painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s and 1950s. The mixture of arbitrariness (setting impulses) and chance (drip painting, squeegee) plays a decisive role here. At the end of the creative process, there is a finished painting that expresses the tension that was built up in the process.
Jürgen Angeler can look back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong and Japan.

About the artist:
Jürgen Angeler was born in Austria in 1982. He now lives and works near Munich. Jürgen Angeler's works are in tune with the modern zeitgeist. He is constantly concerned with current developments in the visual arts. Years of studying art history and artistic techniques form the foundation of his work and its constant further development. Jürgen Angeler's intention is to create expressive, gallery-quality works of art for your premises that reflect the modern zeitgeist. A combination of squeegee technique and drip painting, two popular techniques in modern art, play a major role in his paintings.
