Product description
A charming set of porcelain breakfast bowls, designed by Chris van der Hoef in the characteristic Jugendstil style. This set is a beautiful example of Dutch design from the early 20th century, recognizable by its refined 'decor 410'. The combination of stylized floral motifs and geometric lines is typical of the Art Nouveau movement.
The set consists of various parts, including bowls in different sizes and a milk jug, all made of white porcelain. The decor is executed in delicate shades of pink and green, creating a fresh and elegant contrast with the white background. The openwork handles on some bowls are not only functional but also add a decorative element that emphasizes the lightness of the design.
In good, used condition consistent with its age, this set shows the character and history of a beloved dinnerware. It is a wonderful addition for collectors of Dutch pottery or for those who wish to add a touch of historical elegance to their breakfast table. The set looks beautiful in both classic and eclectic interiors.
The round bowl has some small nicks on the rim due to daily use. The milk jug has undergone a repair, of which there is a photo.
The dimensions are of the bread bowl
