Product description
This is an original color lithograph by the Spanish artist Joan Gardy Artigas, titled 'Bracelet d'ivoire'. Artigas, a renowned ceramist and sculptor, is known for his collaborations with grand masters such as Joan Miró and Marc Chagall, but also developed his own powerful abstract visual language. This work is an excellent example of his graphic Art, in which form and color dynamically converge.
The work is a hand-signed and numbered lithograph on paper, published in a limited edition of only 80 copies; this is number 28. The composition is dominated by bold, abstract forms in a vibrant palette of black, orange, red, and yellow, with subtle accents of green and blue. The sharp lines and geometric figures create a sense of movement and depth, characteristic of the artist's modernist style.
This lithograph is in excellent condition, without signs of aging or damage. The colors are bright and the print quality is excellent. Dimensions: 75 x 50 cm.
Gardy Artigas is also known for his "Gaudi-bekleding met tegels" (Gaudi tiling), part of the artwork "Vrouw en Vogel" (Woman and Bird), a 22-meter high sculpture designed by Miró and located in Parc Joan Miró in Barcelona, Spain (see photo).
