Elegant Art Nouveau sofa inspired by Josef Hoffmann’s celebrated “Fledermaus” seating designs, produced in former Czechoslovakia during the 1930s.
Crafted from stained beech wood with refined curved lines and geometric decorative motifs characteristic of Vienna Secession and Wiener Werkstätte aesthetics. The sofa has been carefully refurbished and professionally reupholstered in an expressive decorative textile that beautifully complements the sculptural wooden frame.
The openwork side details and central diamond motif create a visually light yet architecturally sophisticated appearance strongly associated with Hoffmann’s iconic early modernist interiors.
