Josef Frank's "Diplomat" coffee table, model 2073, designed for Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm. This one is from the 1950s/60s. It has a square mahogany top in bookmatched flame-mahogany veneer with an edge trim, so the grain meets in a mirrored pattern at the centre. Very good vintage condition: original finish intact, light surface wear only, some cracks, no damage. The legs bolt off and the table packs flat, so it's easy to take home in a normal car or to ship. Dimensions: 98 x 98 cm, height 48 cm. Unmarked, as many Svenskt Tenn pieces are. Bought at Auctionet (Stockholms Auktionsverk) in 2022, lot 2386290. Pickup, or shipping by arrangement.
