Product description
Adjustable floor lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, Denmark, 1960s. The lamp head slides up and down the stem via a chromed crossbar, while the cylindrical shade tilts and swivels independently, allowing the light to be directed exactly where needed. Pull-cord switch, white lacquered base and shade, polished chrome stem and mechanism.
Jo Hammerborg was chief designer at Fog & Mørup from 1957 to 1980, a period widely regarded as the company's strongest era in Danish lighting design. His pieces are actively collected today and have recently been reissued in part by Warm Nordic.
